Zombie Run (19/10/2013)

Hordes of zombies roamed around Worsborough Mill Country Park on the 19th October to raise money for the Barnsley Hospital Charity. More than 560 took part and raced through the 5K assault course with the blood thirsty zombies close behind. Almost £20,000 was raised in just one day and it couldn't be done without the help of the volunteers. Barnsley College' Level 3 Make-up Artistry learners:- Alice Holmes, Chloe Mason, Stacey Royston, Daniella Sousa and Levi Stokes put their skills to the test as they help to apply zombie make up to more than 150 actors who would take part in the event. Jenna Galley (Tutorial Learning Mentor) said "They did a fabulous job and created some spectacular designs... Their course covers media make-up so the event was great for them to get involved in". Well done!
